The festival always is held the second weekend in July.\nThe festival takes place in downtown Washington\, Pa\, with a footprint covering the Washington Financial parking lot at Wheeling Street\, traveling down Main Street\, and ending at Maiden Street. The main events take place on Saturday. The event kicks off with a history parade. The Bradford House\, the Whiskey Rebellion Education and Visitor Center and the Meeting House are open for tours during the day on Saturday. And then Saturday concludes with a music headliner.\nThe festival is comprised of: \nLocal history group display tables\nBlue Eagle Tavern\nFood trucks\nHistoric attraction tours\nLil’ Rebels area\nMercantile area\nMusic\nReenactors\nStreet theatre\nCourthouse tours \nProfits go to the BHHA.

DESCRIPTION:Kick off the Whiskey Rebellion Festival by walking to your favorite local businesses while sampling local spirits.\nEach business will host vendor-featured distilleries to be announced! Each participant will receive a shot glass. And sold separately is a unique Walk shirt!\nFriday\, July 10\, from 6 to 9 pm — $50 per ticket\nRegistration starts at 5:30 pm at 182 S. Main Street\, Washington\, Pa 15301 (the Meeting House).Participants are given a wristband\, a walking map\, and a sampling glass at the Meeting House. The wristband identifies you to the vendors. Spirit and wine vendors are set up throughout the footprint within businesses. You walk from place to place\, sampling different libations.\nIf you like something you sample\, you can purchase a bottle. Some runners collect all the bottles purchased\, and at the end of the walk\, you go back to the walk registration and collect your bottles. This way\, you don’t have to walk around with your bottles. Participants will be given a pretzel snack bag and bottle of water.\nThis is the perfect way to kick off the Whiskey Rebellion Festival!!\nParticipating businesses around town will host a vendor.
