Communities along the Historic National Road will be celebrating the 44th Annual National Road Festival, a historic reenactment of the Historic National Road’s transportation history – The Wagon Train. Travel the road during the festival (May 18-21) and discover antiques, ethnic foods, re-enactors, local artists, crafters and music. Explore toll houses and museums, and visit the National Park sites. The festival is a celebration of the uniqueness of the towns and villages along the Road. The most amazing site to see is the Wagon Train – this living history is the centerpiece of the National Road Festival. Some of the communities celebrating the event are Uniontown, Brownsville, Addison, Hopwood, Scenery Hill, Claysville, Richeyville and Farmington. Event schedule to be posted soon to the National Road website www.nationalroadpa.org and also to our Facebook page.
