IGNITE evolved from the Washington Area Business Incubator (WABI), an idea conceived for the next level of developing and fostering new business formation and growing small businesses and nonprofits.

Grants

The WBDA offers an annual Facade Improvement Grant (FIGs), as available, to property and business owners to rehab their storefront and overall building appearance to be more historically and aesthetically appropriate in the downtown design.

Occasionally, funding is available in the form of other assistant grants to small business owners. Please contact our Main Street Manager at 724-288-7156 about grant opportunities.
